Hot pot

It is winter time now in Hong Kong, what do Chinese people like to eat in winter? Of course hot pot!
Since these pupils are learning Chinese, I think they also should learn something about Chinese cultrue.

First, they learned some words about hot pot food by pictures. Then they chose the food they would like to bring for hot pot . And thanks to all the parents, the kids brought the food and shared with the others. I am so glad to see that they have learned how to share and to be caring.

Though I didn't give them any seasoning, they still seemed to like the hot pot and said  "我喜歡吳老師(I like teacher Wu)" . Thanks to these tolerant kids!

 

weather report

The students acted as a weather reporter after putting the Chinese characters in a right sequence and drawing the weather for the current day. Each of them was very excited to do the report and did a great job.

Year 1 CSL

The students played as chefs. They made the hats on which they wrote their names and most of them were so creative that they decorated the hats.They enjoyed making their own sandwiches and some of them even took the sandwiches home to share with their families.
